A reproducible basis for every assessment.
Every Carbon Proof assessment is built on the CRREM decarbonisation pathway for the asset's use and market. We assess the asset against that pathway to establish its misalignment year — the point at which projected energy or carbon intensity is expected to exceed it — and, where the asset is misaligned, the interventions required to bring it back into alignment.
Basis of assessment
Our analysis is CRREM-aligned and fully reproducible. Every figure is traceable to primary or recognised industry evidence, and each assessment can be reconstructed and re-verified at any future point — which is what allows the output to be relied upon in investment-committee, transactional and audit settings.
